Cabin ergonomics and access
Crop Cruiser Interior view
Considerable effort has been made to ensure ease of operator entry and exit. The key design criteria were maximum internal cabin width within the narrow folded boom wing constraints and easy cabin access. This has been achieved by mounting the cabin centrally and providing access via the rear of the cabin. This also allows quick access to the main product tank, foam marker tank and external sprayer controls.

KAB air ride swivel seat & visibility

Some people believe that mounting the cabin out the front of the machine gives the operator greator visibility. This is partly true because there is no bonnet to look around. However, the visibility decrease caused by the bonnet is greatly outweighed by the fact that positioning the cabin out in front limits the transmission system layout. The Goldacres self-propelled sprayer has excellent visibility of all four wheels. A front mounted cabin also puts the operator further away from the boom and hence makes judgment of boom position more difficult.
The Golacres SP cabin has full 360 degree tinted glass and narrow bonnet profile that gives outstanding visibility.
